Hope everyone is having a great week and that all of our Canadian subscribers had a relaxing Thanksgiving.

This week we are focusing on a PRO Trend called Keepsake Branding, which is a sub-segment of some of our research in lifestyle and marketing. While a number of brands are adopting an eco aesthetic, others are taking the opposite approach by creating elaborate packaging that's meant to be kept or collected. This approach goes against the green movement, but helps ensure brands are remembered long after a product has been used or consumed by becoming a part of the home.

My favorite example of Keepsake Branding is the coffee bean flask from Wishbone Coffee that extends the consumer experience far beyond the consumption of the actual product.
