Facebook to add video to popular photo-sharing app, Instagram following the development of video sharing applications owned Twitter, Vine.
Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom said, users can record and share a 15 second clip just by touching the video icon in the applications involved.
They can also use the video editing to increase contrast, whether to make it black and white or other colours.
Vine was launched in January, has 13 million users and allow people to create and share video clips for six seconds.
Instagram has 100 million users, up 20 million when Facebook brought in the company over a year ago.
