Kolo Toure Excited Join Liverpool

London: Ivory Coast defender Kolo Toure to complete a move to Liverpool yesterday on free transfers from team Premier League rivals Manchester City.

Central defender's contract with the City expired on Monday and the 32-year-old who had planned to move before the transfer was officially completed when the transfer market opened.

Although Liverpool have not won the English league title for over 20 years, Toure said he was very excited to join the club's five-time European champion.
